Renders are Toddy Tappers of Goa. Toddy or "Sur'' is an alcoholic beverage extracted from coconut trees. Toddy Tapping has been one of the primary occupations of the villagers in Goa in olden days, which is rarely seen nowadays. This may be due to education or due to the advancement of technology. The toddy-tappers are found mostly in coastal areas where the coconut trees are in abundance.
